It becomes necessary to have a detox plan post Diwali to get back your healthy body in place by flushing out excess fat, cholesterol and unwanted substances. Following are few tips which can assist you in detoxifying your body post Diwali:

  • Drinking water, preferably warm water helps in accelerating metabolism rate. It also helps in flushing out toxins from the body
  • Swap your regular cup of tea with green tea which is rich in antioxidants and helps in burning of fat. It also boosts metabolism and accelerates weight loss
  • Consume oranges and lemon juice that are loaded with Vitamin C which helps in burning body fat
  • Avoid consumption of aerated drinks, salty and fried foods
  • Eat apples, papayas and pears which help in weight loss due to high fiber content
  • Presence of chlorophyll in the leaves of cabbage and spinach helps in removing harmful toxins and assists in detoxify the liver
  • Raw garlic consumed with warm water in the morning helps in clearing the toxins from the digestive system
