Before D-day arrives, everyone tries to reduce their extra weight; however there are people who think that losing weight is a herculean task. An individual can lose their weight, if they have a strong desire and patience to achieve the results along with understanding of their daily diet, lifestyle and sleeping pattern. Below are some easy ways which might help you lose weight before your marriage; however it is better that you consult a dietician since each and every individual has a different body type.

Healthy Foods

Stock your kitchen with healthy foods such as oatmeal, green vegetables, fruits, nuts which are low on calorie and high on nutrition. Foods which are good source of fiber keep your appetite at bay and speeds up digestion process.

Meals

People think that best and faster way to lose weight is to skip their meals. This plan does not work in real time, since the process of metabolism slows down due to short supply of food. Over a period of time, even if you are consuming the same food on regular basis process of metabolism gets slow down. Carry fruit like apple or pear or energy bar in your bag or purse which can serve as best option in case of hectic schedule rather than skipping the meal.

Salt

Consumption of salt in excessive amount leads to water retention in the body which makes individual look and feel bloated.  Keep a daily check on your salt intake by not only restricting the excessive consumption of salt at home, but also on the consumption of canned drinks and food.

Water not only assists your body to eliminate harmful toxins, but also helps you lose fat. Drinking atleast 8 glasses of water in a day helps in maintaining the metabolism process of the body.

Temptation

Many times people who want to lose their weight follow their routine exercise and diet plan; however they tend to get tempted by high calorie food stuffs such as fried foods, salty snacks, and cheese. Consuming such foods in moderation also can hamper your plan for weight loss, hence it is best to avoid temptation and stick to your routine for maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
